Every order that is shipped by Desert Brilliance is insured free of charge from the moment it is shipped to the moment the merchandise is received and physically signed for by our customers. After the merchandise is received by the customer, it is solely the customer's responsibility to insure their jewelry.
Most insurance companies offer endorsements to homeowners policies to insure jewelry. Your jewelry will come with an appraisal and we recommend you insure your jewelry for the amount of the appraisal. Because jewelry prices are dependent on the commodities markets for precious stones and metals, you may also want to consider having your jewelry re-appraised on a regular basis so that your jewelry is adequately insured.
